Natural beauty for the skin with aloe

Did you know that the notorious aloe, which a number of housewives grow on the windowsill, comes from Africa and it is from the southern part of the continent (the Cape of Good Hope)?



Aloe is called in many different ways – a stranger, aloes, doctor and whatnot, but most often – centenarian. Some species of aloe are used since ancient times for healing purposes.

Arabs once thought aloe as a symbol of patience because of its resistance to drought and adverse conditions, and the compressed and hardened aloe juice was called “aloes” – patience. Translated from the Arabic “aloe” means “bitter”.

The ancient Chinese included the scoured aloe juice in the elixir of life. And in ancient Egypt aloe juice was used for embalming the bodies of the dead. To this day, people in Egypt hang aloe over the door because it is a symbol of health and longevity. Of perfumes from aloe is also mentioned in the Bible.

Aloe is successfully used and in cosmetics. Its juice has a strong moisturizing, cleansing and refreshing the skin effect, and in doing so improves the blood circulation, soothes inflammations and stimulates the cell regeneration.

Here are some recipes for natural beauty that you can apply if you have aloe:

* Cosmetic ice. Ingredients: 2-3 tablespoons of aloe juice and 1/2 cup decoction of sage. Mix the ingredients well, pour the liquid into molds for ice and freeze. With the resulting cubes you can rub your face when it needs refreshment and contraction of the pores. Wash with warm water after 15-20 minutes.

* Mask of aloe with cream. Ingredients: 1 tablespoon of aloe, 1 tablespoon cream, 1 tablespoon cilantro and 1/2 teaspoon honey. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and apply the mask on your face. Leave it to work 12-15 minutes, then wash it with consecutive lapping of warm and cool water. This mask not only smoothes wrinkles, but also rejuvenates the skin.

* Mask of aloe with beet. Ingredients: 1 tablespoon of aloe juice, 3 tablespoons milk and 4 tablespoons cilantro decoction. The beet shall be washed and boiled for 2 hours. Is then peeled and finely grated. Add to the grated mass the aloe, mix and pour the milk and the decoction of cilantro. Mix the mixture well and make a face mask for 10 minutes, then rinse with warm boiled water. Complete the procedure by applying cream, suitable for your skin type.

* Mask of aloe with carrots. Ingredients: 1 tablespoon of aloe juice, 1 small carrot, 1/2 cup of strong herbal decoction (best of cilantro). Wash the carrot, peel it and grate finely. Add to the mass the juice from aloe and the herbal infusion. The resulting slurry apply on gauze and impose it on your face for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse with warm water.
